Commissions, Policies, and Terms
Artwork Sizes:
My artwork ranges in size from 4 to 60 inches. For commissioned projects, I can create larger paintings to suit your space and vision.
Commission New Artwork From My Existing Artwork:
If you would like me to paint a likeness of one of my paintings in the original size or a different size from the original, we can discuss commissioning an original piece of artwork from an existing painting. The process involves a detailed discussion about your requirements, my creative approach, and the timeline. I can produce a likeness of the piece you are interested in, whatever size you need; please note that this will not be an exact copy but a variation of the original work.
Discounts For Customers and Re-Sellers:
Five percent discounts are available for customers who purchase over $10,000 of my artwork when the discount code "5OFF10K" is entered at the time of purchase. I offer individual discount codes for repeat customers and re-sellers. Please contact me for more information.
Payments and Methods I Accept:
The artwork I have in inventory payment is due upon acceptance of the terms of sale. For commissioned painting, a deposit or full payment is due with the acceptance of the terms, and any balance is due on or before delivery. About deposits: You will receive two invoices. The first invoice is for a 60% deposit of the total, and the second invoice is for the balance due on or before delivery. Payment types accepted are checks and American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, JCB, Master Card, PayPal, Shopify Pay, Venmo, and Visa.
Production Time:
The current painting inventory ships the week following acceptance of terms of sale, and payment is due on or before delivery. The production time for commissioned artwork is approximately four to eight weeks and depends on Lisa’s production schedule and acceptance of terms, deposit, and final payment, which is due on or before delivery.
Protection of Painting Surface:
I take great care to protect the finish of my artwork. I use Archival Varnish, a high-quality protective layer that offers excellent resistance to dirt, dust, moisture, and damage from ultraviolet light. This varnish is removable for conservation purposes, ensuring the longevity of your artwork.
Shipping Policy:
The customer agrees to pay the cost to ship artwork from U.S. postal code 13411. The artwork is carefully packaged and shipped one week after it is completed. The shipping cost is calculated based on the size and weight of the artwork, and the destination. Please contact me for an accurate shipping quote.
Website Privacy Policy:
Your privacy is important to me. I host my website blog and store on Shopify, and I have adopted their privacy policy as my own. To read the privacy policy, click this link.
When Does A Commission Begin:
The Commission of artwork begins with a clear understanding of the terms and payment in full or deposit. Once these are in place, your artwork will be created and shipped the week following completion, with payment in full due on or before delivery.
Who Commissions My Artwork:
Agencies, architects, art consultants, corporations, designers, foundations, ambulatory/outpatient surgery center directors, hospitals, and individuals.
Your Ideas into Artwork:
If you have an idea for a commission, think it may fit well with my particular painting genre and style, and feel I could accomplish the commission to your satisfaction while retaining the original style and focus of my artwork, I would be happy to talk with you more about it and your schedule.
